Hi all,
Just noticed something strange with my IE7, which i havent noticed before.
Its not causing any problems, its more of an annoyance, and i would like to see if i can find an answer to it.

Firstly, my pc is clean, full norton scan, spybot and adaware scans all came up clean.

Whenever i double click on IE7 ( google homepage ), it loads just as quickly as before , but for a split second, it loads twice. If i can try to explain a little better !!!!
When i open IE, the progress bar at the bottom turns up as usual, but directly above it, another progress bar turns up , just for a split second, then google homepage opens up.
There isnt 2 IE tabs at the bottom of the page, just one.

Its all very strange, and as far as i can remember, i havent seen it before.

The only recent problem i have had was a short infection with spyheal,, which was eliminated by downloading prevx 1 .

Any ideas anyone ????? as i said earlier, its not a problem i dont think,, more of an annoyance.
cheers, kev.

Something is definetly not quite right here......

If I open IE from the start menu it shows a couple of top bars for a couple of seconds then settles down, seems to open pages from bookmarks OK, maybe an IE 7 thing

Yeah, never noticed it with IE6, but to be honest, never noticed it with IE7 either, until december, so its not been there all along, its something that has changed.
I connect to IE via desktop shortcut.

Not sure about that !!! all the monitor settings are fine.

It opens up google homepage, but stumbles for a few seconds, during which you can actually see 2 or sometimes 3 of the same page open up on top of each other. Then a second later, its just one page .

If you are quick enough, when you first open the homepage, you can actually click on one of your favorites, only for it to turn to a single page secs later, without loading the page you just clicked on in your favorites ????
2 sometimes 3 identical pages,, very strange.
Am tempted to revert back to IE6 cos its so annoying, but i actually like IE7 and want to keep it.

I have tried re installing IE7 to no avail, problem persists !!
