security iguard removal/hijack this log[RESOLVED]

i believe that i have completed all the required steps to this point. i have run both ad-aware and spybot, but still have an icon on my desktop for security iguard. i have provides my hijack this log below. i am also currently running zone alarm as a firewall. i hope im heading in the right direction, could someone please provide a little guidance to clear this from my computer?

Among other things, you have a CoolWebSearch infection.

Lets go after CWS first, then move along to the other issues.

Download CWShredder Here.

Update CWShredder
  • Open CWShredder and click I AGREE
  • Click Check For Update
  • Close CWShredder
Reboot into safe mode. Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Now run CWShredder. Click I Agree, then Fix and then Next, let it fix everything it asks about. Reboot your computer into normal windows.

After that, please post back with a normal HiJackThis log and with this log.

Open HijackThis, click Config, click Misc Tools
Click "Open Uninstall Manager"
Click "Save List" (generates uninstall_list.txt)
Click Save, copy and paste the results in your next post.
