Hi Wonka,

Please print out this reply to make it easier to follow and so that you have it handy should you need to reboot your pc.

Carry out a free online virus scan from the below link and allow it to fix anything it may find.

Panda Active Scan

Next please download the following two programs. Install them and update them both. Then run each one and have them fix anything that they may find.

Spybot Search and Destroy 1.3

Ad-aware S E 1.5

Open up HJT and rescan and Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them and not any others by mistake. Some of them might not be there as they will have been removed in previous stages of the sequence. This is normal so do not be alarmed

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [tgigqep] c:\windows\system32\tgigqep.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [picsvr] C:\WINDOWS\system32\picsvr\picsvr.exe
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

YOU ALSO HAVE THE BELOW OPTIONAL ENTRY

O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE Office Startup Asistant is an optional item that if checked, will eliminate a known resource hog. You will still be able to start Office components from the Start menu.

Once you have decided on the optional, ensure thast there are no open windows other than HJT and click on fix.

Reboot your PC into SAFE MODE by tapping the F8 key whilst your PC restarts.
Set your pc to show hidden files (click link below if you do not know how to do this)

Link for show hidden files

Using windows explorer locate the following folders/files and delete them if found

C:\WINDOWS\system32\picsvr\picsvr.exe
C:\windows\system32\tgigqep.exe
C:\WINDOWS\regedit.exe

Restart your PC normally and rescan with HJT and copy the log into this thread.
