Hello all you guys helped me out before and am hoping you can again. I just installed a new motherboard and chip into my wifes computer. Now everytime I try to boot up windows it will get to the process of booting up flash a blue screen too fast for me to see and restart. I cant boot windows up in any form. If you guys have any thoughts on this please let me know.

Hi Quickgrif,

Did you do reisntall the OS or just try to boot the same OS that was there. It's hard to get an OS to start on different hardware. This could be the issue.

I am trying to run the windows disk but its asking for an adminstrative password no clue what that could be. Is there any way around that?

Did you ever set an administrator? Did you build this System? If no password is set you can just hit "Enter".

Never set admin and even if I did there is only a fre passwords I use so nada and enter does not work.

If the password is set and not blank you need away to change or remove the password. I've used nt_pass for along time but it's hard to find the Austrumi 0.9.2 distro that contains it so you can use one of the utilities on Hiren's Boot CD. you can download it here. It's a .iso that can will have to be burned as an image.
