I just hooked up my HP6122 inkjet printer to my dell inspiron 1300 lap top. I work in the ms-dos in word perfect to do my work. I loaded the disc for the HP printer. I have a printer cable with the parallel port on one end and a usb end on the other to connect it to the lap top. I got the printer to print out a test page when I finished loading the disc, but when I tried to print out a page from my work in the ms-dos word perfect , it showed that it was printing on the command, but the printer was not doing a thing and never started to print.....I am at a loss for what I need to check or try next. Any help would be greatly appreciated......Thanks in advance to all.....
