Whenever I try to install it, it asks me which program would I like to open the file with, on the previous versions I could do this without no problem but now they have an apliation called yumi I believe that handles packages, but I do not know how to use it

Hi there,

If you open up Konsole or Shell (whichever you have) cd to the directory where the rpm is and type

rpm -i <RPMFILENAMEHERE>

It will install the rpm. When installing RPMs, unless you have software to do it, you need to do it in Konsole / Shell.

I think yumi is the software that handle that now, but thanks, I will try what you wrote
