Hi,

Hoping someone can help. I have an mpeg file on my hard drive that refuses to open (I keep getting an access denied message). And unfortunately its not backed up anywhere. is there a program i can use to either make a copy of it or repair it somehow. I think what happened was I was capturing a program on the drivve and tried to move that file to the main hard drive and somehow its locked itself up.

Thanks

Thanks for the links Dwight. Unfortunately when I right click the file, there is no security tab. I'll try putting it in a new folder and see if that works
