I recently downloaded Stinkys MPEG 2 codec (god knows why) and I have attempted to uninstall it. Whenever I attempt to remove the installer, I get the standard "access is denied" message suggesting that the file is read only.

Please can somebody offer a little :whistling: ? Many thanks

Hi voshihiro. I think I would just do a system restore to a
time just before you downloaded it, that should do it.

Hit,Start, all programs, Accessories, system tools, system
Restore, click on restore my computer to an earlier time, then
pick a date before the problem. then click next.
if that don't work try this
hope that works for you.

Hi Dwight, thanks for the response.

Please can you confirm if I will loose any other installed programmes that may have been installed after Stinky's codec?
Thanks for your help
