hi all,

hy HP laptop uses a Celeron 2.4 GHz processor, with 256MB of RAM.

I'm running Windows XP.

I've been scouring the web for more memory but cant find the correct type.

Can anyone suggest a supplier for this memory type:

DDR,
Module Size: 256MB
MAX Bandwidth: PC2300 (142 MHz),
Manufacturer: Infineon
Part Number: 64D32020GDL7B
Serial Number: 030354AB

Thanks all

Howdy:

Suggest you try www.crucial.com

Just do a search for your system and they will tell you exactly what you can use !!

Also, if you purchase from them, it is guaranteed to work or your money back !!

Hey Ryan,

Download the programme below

Everest http://www.majorgeek...wnload4181.html

Open it up, go to motherboard, look at the SPD info, it names the actual manufacturer and module number of your memory stick and then Google away to see who else makes it.

Just an idea hope that it works

My bad,

Infineon look to be a manufacturer.

I guess that similar memory should be okay, what does your manual say?

Looks like you share Infineon memory with a Sony Viao PCG-K23, more specifically the Infineon 64D32020GDL7B.

I guess that Crucial should be able to help you with that. Crucial are recommending PC2700 200 Pin SO-DIMM modules CT405552 for the Sony I guess that you'll get something similar for your HP.

Best of Luck
