well, i dwnlded SpeedFan and determined my cpu temp was off the wall. so i have installed I8Kfangui and set new fan speeds and im running at 46C right now, hopefully that'll work out. ill keep you posted

You might also look into a laptop cooler to increase the air circulation under the machine.

Download WinAudit, install it and run it on the machine. Save the audit in Adobe (PDF) format and e-mail the log to me. I'll PM you with the address.

well im on a laptop....and i have no idea how to get to my motherboard w/o taking my comp into a million pieces...

Click Start, then Run, type cmd and click "Ok".

At the command prompt, type net share and press "Enter".

Post a screenshot of the command window once the command has run.

At the prompt in the command window, type netsh int ip reset c:\logfile.txt and press "Enter".

Then type exit and press "Enter" to close the command session.

Reboot and run the net share command again. Grab a screen capture of the command window and save it as a JPG image. Attach it to your next reply.

There were a couple of incorrect values that were reset using the netsh command.
