alright i did it
dang windows is a pain in the a$z though
it said it could not uninstall them b/c if might be needed to start up the comptuer
after i pressed close i see that they actually were uninstalled though
then i tried reinstalled them but it said it had some problem
so i had to plug it into a different usb port and install the drivers again
finally i got it to work though

so to sum up everything iv done so far

i have reset the router, reinstalled the drivers, changed channels, disabled zone alarm
i think thats about it
anyway i think its time to just wait and see if it stops working again

Well to be honest, I never heard of this brand before, so maybe its a small business or what.

Maybe it is the adapter though.

Is there a possible way you can get another adapter to test out?

Yeah its just a cheap thing that my mom picked up.
I don't know anyone with one I can use really quick. I'm not so sure it is the adapter though even though it is cheap. My cousin had a D-link one he paid twice as much for and his does the same thing as my cheap one.
I don't know
Maybe it was zone alarm, It haven't had the problem yet since my last post.

Can you try to connect the computer by wired and disable the adapter?

I can probably do that later when no one else is using the internet.
I would be connected via cable but my moms computer for some reason wont work with the usb connection. I don't have a usb cable long enough to reach in here so im stuck with the wireless.
I used to be hooked up directly and I never had a problem with it.

So it seems that is adapter is the culprit.

I never even heard of it so it's most likely junk.

Well not so fast
it hasn't disconnected today that I know of
I was gone for half the day but it still has been awhile

I'm not going to jump to conclusions and say it's fixed yet. I give it one more day of being online all day, if this little problem doesn't happen then I'll say it was in fact zone alarm that was messing it up.

My internet hasn't messed up once today so I think it's safe to say that the issue has been solved.
Thanks for your help everyone.
