I installed wrar250 and wrar340 today.
I can open files useing the right click button and extract here
if I try to open or run the program I get a message
"This operation has ben cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator"
Im an administrator on the computer.
The computer was installed lately it has sp1 and sp2 on it.

At this point I would completely uninstall wrar and reinstall a fresh copy of it.

I managed to solve the problem.
It turns out that where I work they tried to block un licensed programs and winrar was one of them. Seince it is a local program all I needed to do is change the name of the exe and it works. :tazz:
