not sure how i got this( mIRC),but it won`t let me take of my computer.its a internet relay chat client.when i go to add remove programs it won`t remove,it says i have to exit but the program won`t let me.any help would be greatly appreciated.

try uninstalling it in safe mode
While starting your computer tap the F8 key once every second during the memory count up, or during the system spash screen where you see the system maker's name (HP, COMPAQ, DELL....etc.)

This will result in a text based menu. Use the curors/arrorw keys to navigate to SAFE MODE and hit enter.

go to add/remove programs and try to remove mirc

so i assume from your PM that removing it in safe mode worked? good
