Since you're asking, I'd guess your ISP. They are often slow in updating for the latest threats. My NAV catches viruses that get by my ISP all the time. Hotmail's virus definitions are kept very current.
You want to get loads of viruses and spam sent your way? Just open a website with some decent traffic
Netsky was one of the worst viruses, although it didn't get the big press. It crippled email systems because of it's ability to spoof email addresses, and the resulting "bounced" replies. There were also many variations. On a positive note, they arrested the suspected author yesterday.
