Hey i just found out i had the jammer2nd virus after my computer was running slowwer than normal (lol cant beleave its 6 years old <_< ) well any way i got rid of it but my question is how did i get infected? When i was doing my reasearch it said it spreads by email mail and i only have two email accounts ones from my isp and the other is from hotmail and with the hot mail one i dont open anything if i dont know the sender and with the isp one i hardly use it and plus they "claim" they have spamm filters ad virus filters. Any ideas thanks.

Since you're asking, I'd guess your ISP. They are often slow in updating for the latest threats. My NAV catches viruses that get by my ISP all the time. Hotmail's virus definitions are kept very current.

You want to get loads of viruses and spam sent your way? Just open a website with some decent traffic :D

Netsky was one of the worst viruses, although it didn't get the big press. It crippled email systems because of it's ability to spoof email addresses, and the resulting "bounced" replies. There were also many variations. On a positive note, they arrested the suspected author yesterday. <_<
