My work computer is a mess and our technical support is no help. I have loading website, DMVLite, and I'm sure a few others. The popups are driving me crazy! And my system gets very slow now and then.

Here's my HiJack this file:

You have the Latest L2M Infection, these Infections are quite the Buggers to deal with!

Download the L2MFix From Here

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe.

Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop.

Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log.

Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until I ask you to.

No Problems on the Time,Buisness is wild here too!!

I will need to know how many User Accounts are on the PC?
If more than just You and Administrator,Please Run Options 1 and 2 on each User Account Name to Insure we cover our rears!!

Please Close out All Windows and Browsers, this step will automatically Reboot the PC!

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat

Select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer.

After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log.

Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Hi Cretemonster,

I work for a university and according to my "users and passwords" in the control panel, I have about eight users. I don't know how to get into their accounts. It seems they are password protected as well. anyway of getting in or is there another way of getting rid of this junk? I now have some software trying to download itself a few times a day called WinRAR...do you know what that is?

thanks, melissa

Hey Melissa,
I am unsure how the Multiple User Accounts will act,Logging in as the Administrator may be the Answer!

Go ahead and Run Option 2 of the L2M Fix and lets see those results!
