alright i got an hp desktop computer, and we got the recovery cds after a lawsuit and it was rather slow so i decided to reformat the computer. so i go and back all my stuff up, follow all the directions, put in all eight cds and then when its done copying the files from the cds, it goes to another extraction thing and it says 'windows/system32/config/default.sav could not be opened'. so this freezes stops everything else from happening

when i turn off my computer and try to run it, theres just a blank screen that says 'NTDLR is missing press ctrl alt del to restart'

anyone think they can help me out? im really tired of this bs.
