buliding pc need help picking a mother board?

Hey guys I buliding a pc and here what I have decided to get so far i burn tons of movies and play lots of games and i like the music to.


1. case - coolmaster stacker 830
2. processor- amd athlon 64 fx-262 windsor 2.8 ghz dual core
3. mother board- i need help picking one here that will work with every thing
4.power supply- 1000 watt so I can upgrade to the nividia 8800 a little later
5.memory- OCz 2048mb pc5400 ddr2 gamer memory
6. 7900 geforce evga nivdia video card
7.sound card- creative soundblaster extreme gamer fatality
8.hard drive- samsung 500 gb spinpoint t-series sata 3.0gb/s

Am I missing any thing I need ? I need help picking a mother board please that would be good for this set up thank you. One more ?? would all this stuff run ok put together opinions please welcome.

If I was able to send my AMD back I would, and get a nice Intel Core Duo, I'd say the conroe 6400 its cheaper than the cpu you picked out, and is probly twice as fast. Also if money allows I would get the 8800 instead of the 7900

Thank you I dont no a whole lot about this stuff I get the intel core duo 6400 that you aree talking about. I going to buy the parts and have my budie put it together for me thank you.
