I have been battling a barrage of pop ups for a couple of days now that are slowing down my laptop and making it almost impossible to get anything done on it. I've run Ad-Aware, Microsoft AntiSpyware, Spybot S+D. I ran Norton but then uninstelled it and replaced it with a free version of AVG. When switching usernames on Windows XP, it always tells me that there is one more program running than there really is, so something is definitely there. Here is my Hijackthis log.

Hi Gwoosh,

Welcome to Geeks 2 Go. Sorry about the delay in getting to your post, as we have been very busy.

As it has been some time it would be useful if you could rescan your PC with HJT and post the new log in this thread so that i can assist you.

If your problems have been resolved i would appreciate a reply.

Regards,

Usetobe
