Howdy jjaramz,
What type of USB device are you trying to plug in/ USB 2.0 or USB 1.1?
Can you go to your Device manager and see if it detects it in there, and is there a yellow mark in there?

Whats the diff from usb1 or 2? Here's how it all started. I have a Kodak Z760 camera and I'm trying to transfer pics to the computer. The camera will tranfer pics from another computer at work. I got a usb card reader and tried tranferring the pics but it does not see the card reader either. I ran diagnostics on the usb port and it comes back device is working properly.

Windows 98 will probably need a driver for the camera...
Here is the driver for that specific camera, this should let windows now see the camera..

I have the camera software that came with it. I have uninstalled it and ran the kodak clear utility. I re-installed the easyshare software. The software works but it will not detect the camera. It used to work, and then I had to re-load windows. Ever since then it has not worked. I can not get the card reader that I purchased to work either. Any and all thoughts are appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the posts. I did get it working. My front usb port is dead, I do not think it has any power going to it. It is all plugged in but it is dead. I remembered that there is another usb port on the back that my printer was plugged in to. I tried it on the back port and it is working now. Thanks again!
