I purchased the game from a pawn shop here in my town, I have the 1st and 3rd games of this set and thought I would like to play this one. Anyway, I put the first disk in and start the installation, it seems to be working just fine, but then I notice that it is lagging when trying to install the xtra_1_9_interview01.bik file. It tells me then to re-insert the 1st disk so I do, then it goes through with the rest of the installation. When I click on the icon to run the game it asks me where a certain file is and then gives me a error saying it can not find the file so basically I do not get to play the game at all. I looked in my intallation folder and noted that there was no file for case 1 of the game so I tried to manually copy it from the CD to the intallation folder, but when I get to that xtra_1_9_interview01.bik file it freezes up and then tells me there is cyclic redundancy (or something like that) and it can not copy the file.

Does this mean there is something wrong with my disk, or just that file being messed up, and if it is just the file how do I get that file only? Thank you.....

Hi,

I would say that it is the disk or maybe there is a copy protection on the CD which is not allowing you to copy the file.
