Brand new to this forum, I am a rookie on computers but.. I am wanting to learn. I have a couple of questions for the experts.
1. I have a Dell Dimension L566cx I just installed a KByte 256MB memory, before the Install I was showing 384 MB on memory, I am still showing 384 MB after the install. I have heard I have to go into the BIOS to get my computer to recognize the memory. I don't know how to do this or even if this is what I should do. Can someone help ??
2. Why can I only upgrade my system to 512MB, what limits the memory expansion beyond 512??
Here is some info on my computer. Thx...
