Rome Crashing

For the last month or so, Rome: Total War has been randomly crashing on my pc. I've been getting this error message:

Machine_Check_Exception

*** STOP:0x0000009c
(0x00000004, 0x80545FF0, 0xB2000000, 0x00070F0F)

I'm not sure what may of caused this crashing and I dont remember adding or changing anything when it started. It worked fine for several months and then this.
