copying fax file

i am runninig XP and i copied a file called cheyenne Bitware for windws it is a phone, Fax and answering machine.the download was completed successfully but when i go to start, settings and printers the bitware fax driver icon is not there and it wont allow me to send any faxes through the phone line.the only icon i have is the symantec fax starter edition which useless to me.
