i just installed WinME (dont laugh) and it wont run explorer.exe unless I end the process msoobe.exe right when the desktop comes up.

i found msoobe.exe and opened it and it launched a msn5.0 wizzard.

i had no use for it so I sent it to the recycle bin.

about 1 sec later, a new msoobe.exe created its self.

im kinda clueless of how a deleted program can duplicate itself so any help is appreciated.

PS feel free to help me find a category to post this under. (couldnt find 1)

thank you for any advice you may have.

The process known as msoobe.exe is used when you perform online registration of your Microsoft product(s).

Is your Windows ME install an upgrade? If so, what was there before?
