Hello everyone,

I am about to upgrade my cpu and have already bought ATi 1950xtx from GeCube and a Sound Blaster X-fi xtremegamer. I am still trying to decide which motherboard to get(have mostly been looking at Asus and Gigabyte boards). I am going to get a Dual core 6400 or 6600 processor witha 775 socket. 'I also nee new DDR2.

Anyone have experience using these components?

Any suggestions?

Wish you all a happy new year.

Jonas

the E6600 is the better deal due to twice the L2 cache of the E6400.

I would go with this mobo:

or this one if you like Gigabyte:

can't recommend an ASUS though, in my (and many others') experiences, they work approx. 50% of the time.

and this ddr2 memory is very good, and has a $40 rebate:
