I have a virus, and avast says its a trojan, but it wont help me get rid of it. My computer randomly restarts for no reason so i have to run in safe mode all the time. In different spyware programs it says trojan, but i dont know how to get rid of it. Also when i start up it says log error.

Hello Anthony and welcome to Geeks To Go

Firstly may I wish you a happy new year.

If you ever visit us again, please do not bump your post.

I've had a look at your HJT submitted log and it is not showing any obvious reason for the message from your Avast AV or antimalware programmes that you have installed. Can you please advise me of the path of the trojan or virus.

Please note also, that you have 3 antimalware programmes running in real-time: Windows Defender, Spyware Doctor and SuperAntispyware. This will cause slowness and conflicts, please disable two of them.

Thanks

Hello again Anthony

I understand that you are having problems, but I still need to see the path of the virus/trojan. Your AV programme will have advised you of it.

Please note that I have not asked you to uninstall any programmes, but you should disable their ability to run in real time for two of the three antimalware programmes running.
