Advice regarding TFT - any good?

Hi, ive recently been looking to buy a large tft screen for gaming and watching tv on (once ive got my tv tuner sorted out). Ive just seen this fujitsu siemens 20" screen on pixmania UK. I like it as its a nice simple design and a good price.

Ive got a few little questions about it that i hope someone could advise me on before i go ahead.

1. Do you think this would be good monitor for what i want to use it for?

2. Is 1680 x 1050 a decent resolution for a 20" and are the other specifications up to scratch?

3. What is a D-SUB video input, is it digital? Is it any good?

After buying so many bits and bobs before and then realising they are not really what i want, i want to make sure about this.

Also, does anyone have a recommendations of tft displays around this size and on the cheaper side of things.

Thanks everyone
