I want to surf the web without web sites tracking every one of my moves & then send me junk mails.

I need help selecting a software that would work and not give out my IP address everytime I visit a site.

Please help.

Thanks

I may be incorrect, but based on my research, spamming only occurs if you leave your e-mail address somewhere unprotected...in public forums, for example...or in some cases they are sold to entrepreneurs...by software companies, from which you downloaded some form of software.

SpamBots go looking across the internet for the symbol @ once they find it, it gets reported to the SpamBot, collected up and then packaged, then sold... SpamBots can capture thousands of addresses as they run 24/7 on some malware servers.

True Anonymizers do not exist, because you computer must talk to their computer, and if you are anonymous they cannot talk to each other...but many try to emulate such, and some do a fair job at it, but I would not trust any of them...that is just my opinion.

I think there are server sevices that will act as the middle-man in the transaction...you will need to do a search for them on google or such.

Do a google search of "what is anonymous surfing" or some such string... or try "what is a spambot" and the like...you will be amazed

as b1caez01 kind of hinted to...your IP address pretty much has absolutely nothing to do with your email...if you're getting spam/junk mail...it's not because someone found your ip...it's because A: someone sold your email address to someone else or B: your email address was recovered by other means (such as a spam bot trolling a public forum)
