The computer at my grandmas plase have a cd-drive problem.The tray comes out only if you tap two or three times above a hole to open the tray in emergency.on clicking the eject button the led glows but the try remains in.I want to repair it at home. please help me.we have dual boot on the system win98 and winxp pro.The processor is AMD ethlon and mother board is ASUS.

Problems like this are easier to fix by replacing the cdrom drive than trying to repair it. New drive from newegg is $18.14 delivered to your door.
