Did an upgrade in my older desk top (2 years)... installed a Kingston 512..That I received for christmas....Simple task...But; My monitor will not boot.... I connected my laptop to the monitor..it works...Questions?
#1 How can I check using my Lap top? Or any other suggestions...Thanks ; Bill

when installing the memory you probably dislodged the graphics card. Remove and re-seat it firmly in it's slot. Be sure to observe usual precautions such as discharging static from yourself before touching internal parts.
