Hi, I must be missing something? a friend gave me a 60 gb
fujitsu mht2060at laptop hard drive that came out of a hp laptop
and my laptop is a hp. I hooked it to my computer useing EZ-GIG Data
Transfer Kit, the green light comes on and you can hear hard drive running,
my computer see it as e: drive but when I go to open it nothing is there?
I went to properties and it shows drive full all bule says used space 0
says free space 0 so I went to hardware and it shows fujitsu mht2060at
I checked device manager under mass storage device and it says that
this device is working properly? I even tried to format this dirve and it
would not? this drive was working fine in old computer so what am I doing
wrong? I have another small laptop drive and it works fine with usb.
My laptop windows xp pro and the laptop that it came from had windows xp home
if I could just get it to format think I be ok. I even tried to clone it but it said it could
not find drive?
I sure will take any help I can get on this one, Thanks Dwight :whistling:

Can you go to Run command & type: diskmgmt.msc <OK>
This will open Disk Management. Is the drive visible in disk management? If so, what does D/M report about the drives status etc?
