Hi
I'm not great at this computer stuff. I've been dealing with issues for 3 weeks now. I don't know if they are all realted. I now have McAfee, Counterspy and I've been running Housecall.

I have worm_rbot.gen which McAfee does not detect but Housecall does. It is unaccessible and uncleanable and undeletable.

I also have a Ist.Ist bar that tries to install in my startup registry. Each time counterspy picks it up and removes it, new spyware is there when I run a scan.

Tonight I had a trojan on the Housecall scan troj_ISTBAR-1

Could these all be realted?

I have run all the scans suggested in your "read this" thread.

Thanks so much to you wonderful people!

Kris

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
