Hi all,

I recently decided to overclock my p4 630 3.0 Ghz cpu once i ordered my zalman cooling heatsink. After pushing the cpu up to 3.6 the computer ran stable. I ran CPU-z and cpu benchmark2003 as well as 3dmark05 to test the stability of the chip and see if my marks would go up with the overclock. Each time the chip came back as running at only 1496mhz instead of the 3.6 it was actually clocked to. Each time my marks and cpu score went down in the benchmarks.

Any ideas? I so far set it back to the stock speed and it performed fairly well on the 3dmark05 pulling in near 6100 which was second for a computer that compared to mine.

Thanks for the help guys.
