hi there, i think i have finally narrowed down my graphics card possibilities to a few, and was wondering which one you think is the best, many thanks for your opinions, here are the cards

Point Of View 7600GS-V 256MB PCI-E for 70 GBP

Asus 7600GS SILENT 512MB DDR2 PCI-E for 90 GBP

Leadtek WinFast GeForce 7600 GS 256MB DDR2 PCI-E with Silent Heatpipe classic edition for 80 GBP

Asus Nvidia 7600GT 256MB DDR3 TV out DVI PCI-E for 105 GBP

Point Of View 7600GS-V 512MB DDR2 PCI-E for 95 GBP

Point Of View 7600GT 256mb DDR3 PCI-E for 100 GBP

i really cant decide between these, as im not sure wether 512 is allways better than 256 and i dont really know what a lot of these figures means DDR2 for instance, so if someone could explain it to me, that would be awsome. thanks again

Bob

Always go for the most memory you can get, even in video cards. The Asus one looks the best.

Heres the perfect explanation for DR, DDR2, AN DDR3 graphics card memorys.

I would suggest getting one of the two 7600GS with the 512MB. I have a BFG GeForce 7600GS Overclocked with 512MB and No problem so far.

i would get any of the the DDR3 ones with 256mb of memory. You are not gonna need 512mb of memory in graphics that much. I assume you are not gonna play at MAXED out settings so higher click speed with faster DDR3 memory is a better choice than slower DDR2 IMHO.
