Please help!! I have a NEC 17in flat screen with a NVIDIA8x 440, 64mb with excellant picture and very good with movies. I am getting a Dell 19in lcd screen so I wanted to upgrade video card

I bought a PowerColor X1300 256 Radeon X1300Pro AGP and installed it. Am using my 17in monitor. The picture is slightly grainy colors aren't vibrant, movies are just ok.

There are lots of bells and whistles on this, anyone know how to tweak this to maximize this card?

Thanks

make sure that the graphics card's display resolution is set to the one recommended for your monitor (also referred to as the 'native' resolution). For a 17" LCD it's usually 1280 x 1024. With LCD monitors, if you don't use it's native resolution the display quality will suffer.
