Hello, I've been experiencing horrible lag on World ofWarcraft for about a month and am too agitated to play it until I fix it. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out why. Also, I've been playing FFXI for 2 1/2 years on this computer, and have never had any problems playing it until I installed WoW 2 months ago. I don't know what to say, except that all my virus/spyware scans come up completely clean, I have the correct system specs(512 RAM, 80 gig Harddrive, ATi Radeon 9000 GFX Card), and every single Video specification is on the lowest selectable. If anyone has advice or input for me, I'd appreciate it.

EDIT: Looking around the forum and I'm also having the same freezing issue that "Twiztnin223" is having.

I think the problem is that you need one more 512MB of RAM to make the memory the total of 1024MB (1GB). As for the video card, You're good to go.

The more RAM you have for any MMORPG the better. I have 2gig RAM and I play EverQuest, and I rarely experience any lag. Although EverQuest isnt as graphic intense as WoW, doubling your RAM should help.

Finally bought more RAM, added a GB and it doesn't seem to help at all. any other suggestions?

My FPS is frequently dropping below 2. It never goes above about 20. Trying to do end-game content is extremely painful with 0.5 FPS average

I'm assuming you have broadband if you've already played FF XI so, the only thing I can think of is that the server is just way too busy. Have you already tried joining a different server? Also, What means of internet connection do you have? i.e(.Cable, ethernet, T1 etc)?
