Hi, sometimes when we turn our computer on once the windows xp screen vanishes it stays black and will not go to the log in screen. I press restart and the computer starts normally. The same thing happens sometimes if the computer is restarted. I have no idea what the problem is. Please tell me what other information you require in order to help me, thanks heaps.

Please wait until you get the "all clear" from Malware before posting additional problems. Otherwise we'll have multiple threads being worked on that may have a single cause.

If the problem persists after Malware is finished with you, please post back to this forum.
