Applications Closes Automatically When Opened

The problem is when i open a certain application such as itunes and yahoo messenger, they automatically close out when I open them. I tried deleting and uninstalling these applications and re-installing them but they still do the same thing. Also, i have enough free space on my computer i have 29% free space so im not sure what the probem is. Please help if you have any suggestions. And can you please respond as soon as possible.
