Can anyone point me towards perhaps a tutorial here on GTG about ghosting the hard drive to CD?
Or any other useful links, how-to's, software, freeware............. anything.
I have a friend running 98, he uses Norton 2001, but doesn't like it.

Just was wondering............
If a person were to buy ghosting software, what do you think of Norton Ghost 10.0?
Or would it be typical Norton, try to take over the machine?

Norton Ghost is actually one of the best things Symantec ever made, because it works in both DOS and Windows. One common use is for Windows deployment on new computers.

To install Windows normally, you need a CD. This takes upwards of thirty minutes just to format a big(ish) hard drive, never mind install the drivers. With Ghost, whole Windows XP operation done in ten minutes flat. Build computer, ghost hard drive, connect it up, send it out, user switches it on, clicks Next next next next, job done.
