Hi.

First of all, this XP is German one... Which limits my workability as my understanding of an error. Its my Girlfriend`s comp, she speaks/writes/understands German, but shez bad at "comp language", so shez having trouble translating me the terms and stuff it writes everywhere on the comp when an error occures.

Anyhow, i have problem with trojan.zlob, and i came on your site, found "trojan.zlob removal" post, and both options require running windows in safe mode.

There is my biggest problem.

When i restart win, F8 key wont work. I tried F2, F3, it is same at some motherboards, nothing... It succeded at the end, when i was pressing F2, F3, F5 and F8 at the same time. :whistling: Then, there is next "German writting"

Abgesicherter Modus (Safe Mode)

Abgesicherter Modus mit Netzwerktreibern (Safe Mode with network)

Abgesicherter Modus mit Eingabeaufforderung (Safe Mode with.... ???)

Letzte als funktionisrend bekannts Konfiguration ... bla bla bla something

Windows normal starten (which is highlited)

Now, i cant choose here, because "highliter" isnt moving from "Windows normal starten". LOCK keys arent working, so i cant turn on any of them (CAPS, SCROLL, NUM).

Beside that, keyboard works great in windows, LOCK keys are flashing during restart... Only in that part of reboot where i need to push F8 they turn off.

I could avoid this easily just by starting SmitfraudFix in Win`s normal mode, but i didnt want to act or play smart before i ask first, because there says strictly to use it in safe mode...

What should i do or try?

Thx in forward.

Run through this, then post a log if possible, and ask about any parts you were unable to do

Please follow the procedures outlined here: Malware Removal Guide

You will need a PC which can connect to the internet

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, please ask for advice in the Malware Forum
