My friend has spilt a bottle of bubble mix (yes the stuff kids play with) onto the keyboard and it seeped through into the laptop, it fused room and laptop hasnt worked in 3 days. Any ideas of what to do in cleaning it or makin it work? or is this a pro job, or is it dead?
thanks.

Most spillage damage is done either by the liquid shorting something out or if it is something sweet/sticky causing keys/buttons to stick... most likely you have a pro job at the least.... quite possible that you have a dead machine...

its probably dead.. but to make sure..
try typing on the keyboard...
is it sticky?
or does it work fine...
if its sticky.. they you probably have a short...
lol..
i spilled coke once... and it killed my keyboard...

also.. if its sticky, take a Q tip.. and rub it in the space between the keys.. make sure not to press too hard thou
so..
tell us the results!

Don't hold out much hope that it will work again.......you can check with your Insurance Company and see it if is covered...might be an idea.
