Google.com is the start page on my system. I have Xp and Intrernet Explorer Ver 6.0. For the last week, the start page will be attempting to open, the status bars are moving towards 100%. as soon as 100 % is achieved it bounces back to my Desktop page.
I have defraggged disk, run a AdWare scan and still it does noy=t work.
Any ideas?

if you are still having issues and suspect that it is malware related I would start with our malware forum and see if they can make sure you don't have any malware installed.
