no, My PSU is brand new,and I'm pleased with it. I bought it a couple weeks ago after I smoked my Antek true power 550w (literally dude, smoke was pouring out of my rig, when I put the new graphics card in and tried to use a 4 pin to 6 pin converter for the power to the card and it fried the harness) anyways, listine, this problem with the mouse has been from the start. Since I first put this rig together. the only thing that is still in this rig from the beginning is the MB. I have been through new PSU,HDD, graphics cards, mice, memory, keyboards. and the problem is still here.

Well, would you mind testing a new MB?

hey buddy, didn't expect to hear from you so soon. Thats what I was wondering, if I should just get a new MB and throw it in. With all the drivers already on my HDD I should just be able to swap it right? Or is there anything special things I need to do? Any certain procedure I need to follow for the swap?

Sorry for the late response.. lost track with all my practice logs.
Well its quite simple. Find a MOBO you like and go to the System Building and upgrading forum to see if it is compatible with your system. Dont forget to post all your other parts and post the links to your hardware. The bad news is, you may need to reformatt and reinstall windows XP because your installing new hardware.

Do you have a warranty on your MOBO?

got to check my paperwork to see if it's still active(manuf.), but if I buy another one I'll make sure it has it. I got the last one on newegg. Didn't pay for an extended warranty. I found a store over here thats got the same MoBo for the same price. At this point I'll throw the old one in the box, return it and say it didnt work....

Yes I am here.. sorry about the long reply wait.. busy..
Did you get the new mobo and return the old one? Maybe the old one had a defect in it since the beginning.. lets keep our fingers crossed.
