Please help me this is so weird. I installed windows xp. Installed the drivers correctly (it seems so). My computer seems to work fine but there's something wierd. When I play a wmv file I can hear the sound, my monitor shuts down and opens really fast twice or thrice, and then it crashes without any blue screen (even tho I have the option on). my monitor shuts down and I have to press the reset button. Another bug I noticed is that when I installed Ultramon (i have 2 monitors) it works fine until I reboot. After first reboot the resolution go down to 640x and 4 bit. I had to do a restore. What's goin on? I guess there's something wrong with my video card or my video configuration but I don't know. I don't understand why but I can't find my graphic card (asus pcie rad eax1300pro 256m tvo bte) in device manager nor in everest. Is it broken or something?

It's the driver for the graphics card that is probably not compatible with your system as it is currently set up, or the wrong one for the card. When Windows restarts, it rejects the driver and uses it's own basic driver, which is why the resolution and colour-depth drop to the minimum. You need to get the driver sorted -- check for an update.

I used the cd that came with my card. And I tried downloading them http://ati.amd.com/s...radeonx-xp.html for ATI Radeon X1300 Pro (RV515) (Asus EAX1300 Pro). Whats going on?
