as listed in topic title and discription . i am getting the same error when i tried accessing Winprof computer
from other XP machines. yes from mutiple computer.
actually i shared printer and want to access it from xp machines . i cannot access the shared folders on win professional from xp machines.
it is showing \\<computer name> not accessible. you might not have permission .....
all other machines: WINXP and few win2k prof
shared computer: where pritner is shared : WINPROF 2000
any ideas.
i can ping both computers. both are in same network (domain)
i can see win xp machine from win2000 prof. but i cannot access shared folder. i mean i cannot open it.
what could be the problem
