after trying everything else, this thing is still in there. in spybot it says there are two entries, but they can't be deleted, even in safe mode, because they are in use. their locations are HKEY_USERS\s-1-5-18\software\new.net and HKEY_USERS\default\software\new.net, at one point i was able to find those files, now i can't. here are the log files:

Hi absoluttad

Download New.netfix.exe by Noahdfear.
  • Save it on desktop.
  • Doubleclick it, then click Start in order to extract contents to own folder
  • Open new folder and doubleclick RunThis.bat in order to run tool .
  • Follow instructions and post contents of new.net.txt along with a fresh HijackThis log

Hi

Open HijackThis, click do a system scan only and checkmatrk these:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapp.../search/ie.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://red.clientapp...//www.yahoo.com
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)
O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe


Close all windows including browser and press fix checked.

Reboot

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner. You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then start to download the latest definition files.
  • Once the scanner is installed and the definitions downloaded, click Next.
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make sure that the following are selected:

    o Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:

    + Extended (If available otherwise Standard)

    o Scan Options:

    + Scan Archives
    + Scan Mail Bases

  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan select My Computer
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run. Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
  • Now click on the Save as Text button
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information in your next post.
Send:

- a fresh HijackThis log
- kaspersky report

Does spybot still find those keys?
