whats the best hard drive brand you guy think suck as maxtor, seagate, westren digital, samsung, fujitsu?


Ijust bought a brand new maxor hard drive like 5 days ago. And I have a program called HDDLIFE and its telling me my maxtor drive has 54% health and 54% performece rating. This is not my primary drive I bought this for some extra storage(maxtor drive specs 320gb model:L01F300 Maxtor 300GB ULTRA16 Sata (Serialata) Internal Hard Drive With 16MB Buffer 7200RPM). The problem that HDDLIFE program says the raw read error rate is 54% and the hard drive spin up is 96%. I have croped a picture with i will upload of it thanks for your time and readign this long problem i thank you!

ps dam seagates and maxtor drives are the only drives I had ever had problems with! when this finally goes im prob going to have to send it back to maxtor aka seagate.

I would actually check the drive using Maxtors utilitys.

I personnally have had NO issues with Maxtor, Seagate, or Western Digital.
