<_< I have a hp Pavilion lap top n5261 on win ME which crashed and would not load the system restore disk supplied.
I reformated and loaded win 2000 but the screen resolution wont og above 600 x 800 and I cannot reset the colours. It does not find the monitor. I have tried every drive that i can find without any joy. Any help would be welcome.

Win2000 doesn't have the driver built-in for your display. You need to identify your graphic driver and install the software driver for it. This may help:

Thanks, I have done this now but In device manager the message is= Insufficient system resources.
I am unable to find which other devicee is conflicting for resources
