I just had the same error on a computer. Shutdown the comptuer. Opened the case. I replaced the IDE cable (gray ribbon) and changed power plugs to the harddrive. Took approximately 5 minutes to fix. You only see these kind of errors if you can't access the files for windows to run properly. Checklist for fixing similar errors. 1. TEST THE RAM 2 CHECK YOUR CABLES 3 Check the Virtual Memory Settings in XP (Automatic is usually the best ... I've had to manually set to like 100 MB min and 200 mb max on a few computesr
