Hi, I juss recently bought a new laptop and it comes with a free upgrade to the premium windows vista home when it comes out. I was wondering if anybody can tell me if i have everything needed to make sure that i can run vista mainstream without having any sort of slowdowns.

Here is my specifications of my laptop:

160 GB harddrive
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor(2.00 GHz ; 667mhz w/ 4mb Cache)
Motherboard:Intel 945pm chipset
Graphics: nVidia GeForce Go 7700 PCI-E Graphics w/ 512MB VRAM
Memory: 2048MB DDR2 667 SO-DIMM(1024MB x 2)
Video memory:512 MB
Audio:Realtek sound

did i miss anything else? wells thanks ofr who ever can asist me.

It will run it fine, it might even be faster than XP but you certainly wont have any slowdowns.
